This session will be “Newcomers: Getting Connected”  The event will start with a member panel sharing their experience, strength and hope, followed by their responses to anonymous questions submitted both ahead of time and in the moment by members. The second part of the event will include an opportunity for sharing. While all members are encouraged to participate in all topics, we want to encourage newcomers to attend to learn from others’ experience in “getting connected”, as well as any member who wishes to reflect on welcoming and supporting newcomers in our fellowship. After the formal event has closed, members will be able to continue with informal conversation and fellowship.  To submit a question for panelists ahead of time, please email info@dcmdvasanon.org.

Intergroup plans to continue this series through the year. May’s topic “Building and Growing Our Meetings”, and future topics will be planned soon! There are lots of opportunities for service, including choosing topics, being a panelist, helping to host and manage questions and time during the call, reading IG announcements and/or submitting questions prior to the event.  We would love to involve more people, so if you’re interested in learning more, please reach out at chair@dcmdvasanon.org
